Altenew Scrap Card ... Featuring a Paper Towel!

Hi Folks! After playing with the new Altenew stencils last week I resolved to use up whatever scraps I could, and not add to my "maybe someday" pile. These two flowers were left over, as well as a couple embossed sentiments. AND, I couldn't get rid of the paper towel I used to clean off all the stencils. So I cut it down on my paper trimmer and used it for my background!

It was a double layer paper towel, so I ended up with two background panels! It's not going to be the most archival card ever, but I really ended up liking it, and all the extra texture the paper towel brought with it. Here's to not throwing anything away : )

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. Recycling at its best, Kelly. I've see Loll do this and I did it once too. Sometimes those mop cloths are just too pretty to ignore. It made a beautiful background for your roses.
