Pinkfresh Studio July Stamp, Die, Stencil, and Hot Foil Release

Hi Friends! We have another monster release from Pinkfresh Studio to share with you! How does it keep getting better? I don't know, but wait until you see all the smartly designed sets of stamps/dies/layering stencils, and even some stand-alone layering stencils for customizing backgrounds.

You may have arrived from the blog of Keia Shipp-Smith, but if not feel free to start at the beginning with Pinkfresh Studio.

Too early for Christmas? Nope, not with some fun colors and this Stars Layering Stencil set.

Slimline Stars Layering Stencil

Grab a set of ink pads and start blending ink dark to light for each of the three layers of stencils. Then cut the cardstock into a triangle and you've got a festive tree with tiny star ornaments. Of course it's a great match for a mini-slim card.

Here's a good close up at the letters and dimension (Lea's Ornate Uppercase Alphas). The star is from Shaker Stars in a recent release.

You can also use individual layers of the star stencils to add details, like the tiny stars I added in the background on the top of this card. Speaking of background, those lovely stripes belong to the Slimline Plaid Layering Stencil Set. Will be using that one a ton!

Here's another use for the layering star stencils, a stardust trail! I made a quick template from copy paper and stenciled through the template.

The die cut big stars are again from the Shaker Star Dies. I layered a few of them, big and small, added the alphas, sentiment strips and gems. Lots going on here.

Speaking of gems, I added some to the stenciled stardust area at the last minute (first photo doesn't have them). Undecided which way I like it, maybe you have a preference?

The background is from the Slimline Plaid Layering Stencil Set. Lots of great options to tie the colors in from your main design when you use this plaid builder.

Here's a workhorse set of layering stencils from the English Garden Stamp and Die set released last month.

I was going for a lush wreath vibe, so I layered an extra set of florals on top of the main wreath. This set comes with 5 additional sets of flower clusters, aside from the wreath, so you have a ton of options.

Blended some ink in the sentiment area (which also comes with this set). Love that I was able to create this entire card, aside from the stitched background, with just one set of products!

Here's my final card for this hop, made with the Sweet Friend suite of products (stamp, die, layering stencils). What I love about this, and all of the recent Pinkfresh die sets, is that they are designed to cut out all the elements AT THE SAME TIME!! So super efficient! Because really, after coloring five different flowers, who wants to line up five different dies? Nope. All of the flower pieces are one stamp, which lets you have one die perfectly spaced to cut them all out at once. Magical!

Sweet Friend Floral Stamp

Having separate flower elements is great for getting a nice custom look. I like to just adhere the flowers at the bottom of the stem. That way the flower can stick out and give you great dimension.

The frame of this card is again from the stripes in the Slimline Plaid Layering Stencil Set. Both sentiments come with this stamp set. This was a fun one to put together, and I liked tucking in my leftover small butterfly to add another color to the blue card

Reverse Confetti New Release - Double Die Cutting

Hi Friends! You've seen the sneaks the last three days, and now all the sets are released at Reverse Confetti!

You may have arrived from Heather Ruwe, but if not feel free to start at the beginning with the Reverse Confetti Blog.

Aren't these hummingbirds adorable? I googled humingbirds, because I wasn't exactly sure what color they are, and was thrilled to see there are some with pretty pink heads! Yep, those are the ones I want to make!

For the background, I doubled up on the dies, and used BOTH the Peekaboo Cover Panel and the Circle Element. Because why not? Both of these designs have a center based in the middle of the card, so they compliment each other.

For any winged creature, I always like to adhere the body down and bend the wings up for some free dimension.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Daffodil & Glitter CardstockRelease Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello Friends! Oh my glitter! We know Altenew has beautifully gradient color cardstock sets, but now they are offering GLITTER gradient color cardstock sets!

You may have come from the talented Sande Woodson, but if not feel free to start at the beginning with Altenew Card Blog.

I'm kicking myself for not thinking of using glitter paper earlier for some of the floral layers in the Craft-a-Flower dies, it's just so pretty!!

Pink Brilliance Glitter Cardstock

There are other colors, but this is the pack I used to add details to my Craft-a-Flower layered die flower (Peony Dream).

The best part about using the glitter cardstock with the Craft-a-Flower dies is that you only need to use it on a few of the layers. Use plain colored cardstock for the larger layers, and just use the glitter cardstock for a few of the detail layers.

The Frilly Frame Die adds some nice texture in the background, and the leaves cut from the Just Leaves Die set fills in the bottom of the card. Throw in a few vellum leaves for good measure.

One last thing, do you recognize the background stamp on the panel? It's the strip of waves stamp from A Lighthouse Stamp Set stamped multiple times!

A note about the glitter cardstock ... if you're interested in it, I would move quickly, as it's expected to sell out quickly. There's only a limited supply available during this release. Reverse Confetti - Oceans of Love, and a Really Handy Die

Hello Friends! Welcome to the final day of sneak peeking before the big Reverse Confetti release day tomorrow! My card features the new Oceans of Love stamp set, and the Circle of Waves stand-alone die:

I cut my own heart out (to tie in with the sentiment) and then adhered several shades of blue and green from the Ocean Waves die. It's great having all these waves in the circle because:

1) You get to add shades of color,
2) You have places to ground a lot of different tiny objects (fish, jelly, turtle), and
2) It's a great place to tuck things into (like the coral).

I have to admit, often when I work with sets that have a lot of tiny images, I love how cute they are, but sometimes struggle with where to put them all so they don't seem like they are floating in space.

The Ocean Waves die completely solves that problem!

I love the sentiment that comes with the Oceans of Love stamp set, and embossed it on vellum to span across the Ocean Waves die.

Reverse Confetti - What's a Rainbow Floral Snowflake?

Hello Friends! Day #2 of the sneak peeks for the Reverse Confetti release, and we've got more goodness to share!

This set is called "Bloom" and it does just that! There's one long line of flowers, and a few separate blooms and leaves for you to fill in any gaps.

For this card I used the long line of blooms to make a "rainbow floral snowflake" by rotating the top half around a center point. I think this is such an easy way to make a pretty arrangement.

To cover the point of rotation, I put the wide sentiment on top of it. This is another sentiment from the new Lovely Day set.

I think this would look good as an actual snowflake too, by using a couple different shades of blue. What an easy holiday card that would be!

Reverse Confetti - Sneak Peek Day #1 with Tropical Leaves, Lovely Day Sentiments

Hello Friends! I'm thrilled to be participating in my first Reverse Confetti release sneak peek as a 'Fetti Friend! It's "absolutely wonderful!!"

You may have arrived from the blog of a very talented old teammate of mine from the Fusion Challenge, Jeanne Jachna! If not, feel free to start at the beginning with the Reverse Confetti Blog.

The first set we're sharing from this release is the Tropical Leaves stamp and die. What's great about this set is the giant size of these leaves, which makes it easy to either feature them as their own focal point, pair them with a flower or two, or stamp a quick background.

For this card I used two of these ideas ... featured them as their own focal point, an exotic bouquet, as well as stamping the leaves in the background. Such a versatile set that's sure to be a staple!

Speaking of staples, this sentiment comes from a set of five large-sized sentiments in the Lovely Day set. I'm always a big fan of sentiments that feature both a scripted font and a printed font, and this one not only checks that box, but it's also perfectly sized to span the entire width of an A2-sized card!

A New 'Fetti Friend!
