Hello Friends! Welcome to the final day of sneak peeking before the big Reverse Confetti release day tomorrow! My card features the new Oceans of Love stamp set, and the Circle of Waves stand-alone die:
I cut my own heart out (to tie in with the sentiment) and then adhered several shades of blue and green from the Ocean Waves die. It's great having all these waves in the circle because:
1) You get to add shades of color,
2) You have places to ground a lot of different tiny objects (fish, jelly, turtle), and
2) It's a great place to tuck things into (like the coral).
I have to admit, often when I work with sets that have a lot of tiny images, I love how cute they are, but sometimes struggle with where to put them all so they don't seem like they are floating in space.
The Ocean Waves die completely solves that problem!
I love the sentiment that comes with the Oceans of Love stamp set, and embossed it on vellum to span across the Ocean Waves die.
PRIZES: We will be giving away two prizes - $15 for a blog commenter, and $15 for a Facebook commenter! To enter, leave a comment on each sneak peek post for each designer. Comments will close at noon CST on July 7th and the winner will be announced at 5pm on July 7th on the Reverse Confetti blog and FB page. Good luck!
If you like what you've seen, I'd love to have you stick around and follow me on my blog, or on Instagram!

ReplyDeleteSweet card. Love the off-center heart.
ReplyDeleteThe vellum makes a great spot for the
sentiment, without covering the "water".

ReplyDeleteI love your plants--great coloring ideas. And the fish is so cute the way you colored him. This is so different and adorable.
ReplyDeleteI hear you. I struggle with placing the tiny elements too. The circle wave die is a hack for scene building.
