Hi Friends! I've got a quick and easy interactive card to share with you ... a cute little girl splashing her way thru the puddles on a rainy day!

This adorable image is from the Spellbinders Cute Boots Stamp Set and comes with a few accessories and clever sentiments.
After watercoloring the little girl, with a staggered rainbow stripe umbrella naturally, I wanted to create a simple, but dynamic, background that gave the feeling she's splashing in puddles.
So I inked up my stamping block with a couple shades of blue, added some water droplets to the ink, and smooshed it onto the card background. Her puddle! Then with the left over ink, I used a paint brush to flick it onto the card base. Her splashes!
To make the interactive element, I made my own wobbler by winding a thin gauge wire around my paintbrush, and taping one end to the card and the other end to my girl. Done!!
WOBBLER TIP: If you want the wobbler to stand farther away from your card, just wrap the wire around the paintbrush a few more times. Since the girl splashing is the main focus of of the card, I wanted her to stand out, so I wound the wire 7-8 times. It also results in a lot of action. Conversely, when your wobbler is part of a large scene, like my buzzing bee scene, you may want something more subtle and only wind your wire 2-3 times. All up to you! A benefit of making your own supplies when possible vs. buying pre-made things.
