Hi Friends! Last month the fine folks at Colorado Craft Company reached out to see if I was interested in trying a few of their stamp sets. I'd heard a little bit about their company already, mostly from seeing their Big & Bold line (the giant cake/ice cream/cupcake, and more recently the giant perfume bottle and lips), but hadn't had the opportunity yet to play with their stamps. So I was happy to accept! One of the sets I received is this darling Mini Love Cards set.
The set is filled with cute images and corresponding sentiments. I thought I'd do as the title of the set suggests, and make a few Mini Love Notes! It really couldn't be easier. I used up several double-sided patterned papers I had left over in pads, folded them to make a card, and then adhered a stamped & colored image with its corresponding sentiment on top. I really like how the small patterns on the inside of the card contrast with one large image on the front of the card.
Honestly, such adorable illustrations! Which is your favorite? I think mine is the cuddly deer holding the heart in the middle ... so huggable! I drew a line around the image panel with a felt tip pen to give it more separation from the various patterns.
In addition to the obvious Valentine's Day use, I think these would be super cute to stick in your favorite person's sock drawer, in their briefcase/laptop case/backpack/lunch box, or somewhere else they will find later when you're not there. The little size keeps you from needing to write a novel on why you love them, just a sentence or two is all you probably need to warm their heart.
So darn cute! I'd sure love to get one!
I have another blog post coming next week featuring two additional stamp sets, so I hope you'll return.
Thanks as always for stopping by!
