The Mum's the Word set is all about our #1 ... Mom! (or Mum!)
This one was so simple to create with the large and medium bloom. I'd like to make a couple more of these in different colors. It's fun to stamp these randomly and see your background take shape! The overlapping areas add some interest.
Here's a take on a clean chalkboard card with these sets. I love how the sentiments are in fragments so you can build your own look and keep things fresh. Stamp them vertically, and then horizontally on the next card for a totally different look. I used alcohol markers on the white embossing to selectively color the flowers.
Be sure to stop by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps to check out the rest of the samples that the Design Team has cooked up. Commenting on that post will get you a chance to win a $20 gift certificate! Stay tuned for another post tomorrow with the third and final stamp set to be released this week!

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards, each different but so charming!! Love your clever clean chalkboard effect - very you (I could see the 'chalk dust' look freaking your OCD nature out, lol!) but it's the first one with that perfect background stamping and that darling bow that really steals the show.
