I'm not sure why I thought once I moved, I'd have all this time to catch up on things. Moving during the summer has turned out to be quite a challenge, as who wants to stay at home unpacking boxes when it's sunny, 80 degrees and your two kids still love to go out on adventures with you? Needless to say, until yesterday afternoon when I knew I had to make a card, this is what my craft room looked like. Just like it did on moving day! I still have a looong way to go, but at least it's functional now, and it's possible to produce something.
Today I've got a card over at the CASual Fridays blog. It uses the tree stamp from Calm and Loving:

Beautiful, Kelly! And I know all too well how you feel with the unpacking! Though like you said, at least it's functional!...lol...Enjoy your Summer and best of luck with the unpacking! ;) Hugs
ReplyDeleteYou can still create a BEAUTY in the midst of chaos...that said something about your ingenuity! Have fun (and take your time) unpacking. Summer is only few more days left. Enjoy while it lasts! :) Sending hugs!
ReplyDeleteMissed you Kelly! Pretty card today, congrats to you for getting a little crafty during this busy time in your life!! Enjoy your kids and those fleeting summer days. We'll all still be here when you get back into action!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are having fun this summer, despite the moving! Love this gorgeous wreath too! That heart is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWell and what a pretty card you produced, Kelly! Go out and have fun with your kids! Clean up can wait!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Kelly and you have your priorities in the proper place. Your craft room will get there :)
ReplyDeleteOh to have a craft room that big, chaotic or not. ;) Time with the kids is more important and you'll get to it when they're back in school. You did manage to make a beautiful card, Kelly. I'm so far behind on comments and challenges and having trouble getting back into it.
ReplyDeleteKelly!!! Oh my goodness I've missed you! Gorgeous room, fabulous card! Wonderful to see you here in my feed!

Love that wreath! I've used a branch before but never a clear stamp that allowed the stem to be curved & now I've gotta see if I have a stamp like that! Thanks for the inspiration! Hoping I never have to move again--LOL!
ReplyDeleteMissed you too, Kelly! What a stunning card ... the overlapping 'wreath' branches are just gorgeous! Genius among the chaos! Love your wonderful huge new craft room ... even in it's disorganised state! Enjoy the rest of the summer! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI have great sympathy for you and your mess. That is what my house has looked for the last week or so as we moved everything to recarpet. So nice to see you creating and out in blog land again.
