so here's the rest of the card. It's got words from The Big, the Bold and Blessings, also in this release.
It's so fun coming up with different combinations of sentiments. It's also pretty darn fun using those chevrons (more on that tomorrow!)
The last project is a tag for a neighbor gift. So simple, as you can see. Just three layers of tags, and then stamp the words. We were in Pilsen yesterday (Hispanic neighborhood in Chicago) and during our neighborhood tour we passed this ...
The smell was so amazing we literally turned right around and went inside. It was the perfect place to get a small gift for our neighbors since they appreciate authentic Hispanic food. We picked out a bag of colorful conchas (sweet baked bread) and a few "extras" for us to take home : )
They showed up on our doorstep a few weeks ago looking just like this. Mom, daughter and son made a German chocolate cake from scratch and they wanted to share it with us. Do you see the sweet apron? That's why I had to show you the photo. You just can't make this stuff up!!
That's why they get the #bestfamilyever tag.
Be sure to check out the amazing projects from owners Julie and Shay on the Winnie & Walter blog. Diane Jaquay and Jenny Martin are our shining guest stars for this release as they won the Playdate No. 2 challenge with some pretty awesome cards. Of course, there's also a ton more inspiration on the personal blogs of our Talent:
Joni Andaya | Lea Lawson | Mayuri | Vanessa Menhorn | Gayatri Murali | Heather Pulvirenti | Laura Sterckx
ALL FOUR of the stamp sets and coordinating cut files are up for grabs on the comment-to-win post (you've got until July 24th to be eligible). Then on July 25th, all the sets will be available on the Winnie & Walter site.
Thanks for stopping by, and I will see you for the final post of the release tomorrow!
