Here's a card for the CAS-ual Friday's challenge to make a thank you card.
French knots for the center of the flower, and the "THANKS" sentiment for the leaf. Arrow stamps to fill the space on one side, and a bit of text on the other side of the stem.
The flower is cut from the Truth Is set, turned upside down, and the petals are spread apart to make the daisy-like flower.

ReplyDeleteFrench knot is something I never mastered - I remember the tortuous sessions trying to learn! But maybe I'll give them another try - they add wonderful texture to this. I also love what you did with the chevrons on the side and how they echo the curve of the stem!

how do you make a basic french knot? and these thick ones, that look twisted? my attempts usually end up as holes in my paper that i fill with puffy paint. thanks! love your creativity!
