Eeek, I'm so in love with these Pretty Pink Posh sequins, that I totally went overboard. Just wait, you'll see ...
The gorgeous curved AND stitched edge on the bottom is from the Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Border Dies #1.
Something about the floating ornament didn't sit well with me, so after moving it around the card I settled on the bottom left corner, overlapping the seam between the white cardstock and the gray woodgrain. To play up on the sexy curve at the bottom, I curved the sentiment around the top of the ornament. And no, I didn't use a cut file to get that classic Winnie & Walter sentiment. What?!? Hmm, perhaps some dies are in your near future!! You didn't hear it from me though [wink]
Here's
Now you're off to the amazing Laura Sterckx's blog to see her latest creation! Prizes are involved too, so as you're filling up with inspiration (have you seen the names on this list?!?) be sure to comment along the way. How long did it take to make?
Hi Vicki! It wasn't too bad, actually, if you don't count my first attempt. I tried being lazy and just using my regular tape gun adhesive, but quickly learned that wasn't going to cut it. So I went for the glossy accents and that worked like a charm. There were also a few sequins that I swapped out after I was done because they got adhesive on them and didn't shine as well. Other than that, it was probably a 5-10 minute project.
