Well now's your chance to make use of them. This week's challenge at CAS-ual Fridays will give you lots of leeway, the only requirement is that you use chipboard somewhere in your CAS project.
No chipboard? No worries! Just make your own chipboard embellies like I started doing...
So it stayed, and I colored the elements in the sheet. White chalk for
the birch (to get a more natural, varied effect) and American Crafts
Galaxy markers for the ombre "hello." I only had a red and orange marker, so I had to mix colors and chalks to get the transition from dark to light.
"H" - red with a layer of orange
"E" - orange
"L" - orange with a layer of yellow chalk
"L" - yellow chalk
"O" - yellow chalk with a layer of white chalk
The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays Calm and Gentle.
There's a sweet prize for the winner this week - a $20 gift certificate to the CAS-ual Fridays store! Sure hope to see you in the gallery.
Thanks for looking!
