ETA: adding this after the fact to the Tuesday Trigger, as it uses the same circle graph pattern
and here's the card with the circle graph that was sneak-peeked below (for details, go here):

I was so excited and honored when my super-talented and artistic friend Alexandra asked me to join Scrap Rendez-Vous to share a sketch and some cards! Here are some sneaks of three different cards based on the same sketch. Please head on over to check them out if you're interested : ) They also have a month-long challenge based on this sketch if you want to play along.

Love them all...genius designs...especially the baby card...it really does look like the texture of a soft knitted blanket!!! Who knew layering die cuts could give so much pretty texture!
ReplyDeleteI would love to come see how your brain works someday. You have so many creative ideas.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly, went over to scrap rendez vous (in France?) for a good look ... all three cards are amazing ... the simplicity of the first, the layered dies on the second, the stunning colours on the third ... you've truly shown how versatile your beautifully simple sketch is! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Kelly! I'm so delighted to see your stunning work EVERYWHERE!! Such well-deserved recognition! Mwah!! Darnell
ReplyDeleteI visited Alexandra's blog to see your cards - awesome! TFS ;-)
ReplyDeleteSuper cards. What a fun feature, too. Did you do the French, too?
ReplyDeleteHahaha, no, the French was from Alexandra. I can understand some of it, but certainly not come up with it!
DeleteGreat cards Kelly! Love the sketch and loving all the different techniques you used....tried to comment over there, but for whatever reason it wasn't working for me.
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute sketch Kelly and your work is fantastic as always! Congrats on your guest spot!!
ReplyDeleteY'know, I think you were leading me a merry dance with all this 'I find sketches challenging' talk! You totally rocked this - not only are all three cards such great ways to derive from the sketch, but you also came up with the sketch?! You rock at this!! My favourite it the literal one, the colours just speak out to me and I love all the little logos and icons!! The third one with the sort-of tie dye effect rocks too, and the middle one is just signature clever you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats and AWESOME creations!!! You ROCK!!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, back from popping over to scrap rendez-vous...you do know that I love all your projects but I know that you know which one is my FAV:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Kelly! Wonderful creative cards! Always! Still loving the display spool you found.
ReplyDeleteWow! It's amazing how you got 3 completely different cards from the one sketch. I love the 'weaving' on the baby card and the tie dye feel of the 3rd. As always, I stand in awe of your creativity!
ReplyDeletegreat peeks & heading over to check them out - LOVE what I see so far, especially "peace love Starbucks"
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being featured, heading over now...... : )

Love how you created three totally different cards from that sketch! And I had a lot of fun making a card based on you sketch too! Thank you so much for guestposting for us and thaks for your kind comment!
ReplyDeletePascale
I'm floored by the way your brain works! Three very different and totally amazing takes on such a simple sketch! And I bet you have tons of ideas still floating around in your creative mind...
ReplyDeleteLOVE your cards- especially the last one. I went over to Scrap Rendez-Vous, but did not want to leave a comment, because of the word recogniton hurdle - I can't deal with that - too much trouble to try to decipher - perhaps they could turn that off and use comment moderation - just a suggestion. I am probably not the only one, who has trouble with that.....
ReplyDeleteFabulous take from the TT photo!
ReplyDeleteThis is so RAD!! Love it, Kelly!
