Day two of the CAS-ual Fridays release! The Wallflower set is full of great sentiments, as you'll see. I love the vertical orientation of this sentiment, which lends itself to fit long, skinny design spaces.

Vintage ribbon, a strip of patterned paper, and Amy Tangerine Yes, Please paper on the inside.

I went for a more vintage look on this card, with the dirty gold glitter paper, and the copper ink.

The nice thing about this set is that the border stamp goes perfectly with the $5 four petal dies. Love that extra ridge you get since it's an open die!

This card was made with the left-overs from the prior two cards. A strip of washi grounds the bottom of the panel.

Stay tuned for the last set to be revealed tomorrow! More inspiration waits for you at rest of the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Design Team:

Thanks for looking!

  1. Love the cards Kelly - especially the balance of colors & patterns on the first one with that stunning bow!

  2. These are all gorgeous Kelly. I am loving all the double sided paper you have been using lately!

  3. These are wonderful! I love how you use PP for your cards. I like seeing the inside pattern peeking out. I'm scared to do it, but I have a glut of papers. I need to just go for it!

  4. They're all so fun, Kelly! Love these new sentiments. You always manage to pick the perfect color combinations too. Great cards! Bev

  5. Kelly your cards are beautiful! Love, love, love your BOW and your choice of pattern papers, the sentiment, they are great!

    1. Thanks Nancy! I forgot to mention that I used my boys' comb to make the bow, and to get all the loops the same size. I saw a video on-line that used a fork to make a tiny bow. Winding your ribbon through a comb lets you make a much bigger bow.

Hope you're having a good week!

  6. Kelly ...I love them all! That first one with the bow is just perfect! I don't think you use bows to often .love the double sided paper you use on these too.

  7. These are all great Kelly! Love them and your fun bow!

  8. These are all wonderful...vintage ribbon..love.

  9. Such great cards, Kelly ... love those sentiments, wonderful colour combo's, and wow, what a bow! Anita :)

  10. Oh, these are so pretty, Kelly! I love them!
And, to answer your question about my drink dispenser, it came with two tiers and I got it at the Royal Canadian Superstore, here in Canada. It was $24, which felt like a bit of a splurge, but I've used it several times already this year. And for kid parities, it's nice -- the kids love serving themselves with it!
    Take care!

I absolutely love reading comments. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave one! - Kelly
