A sweet 16 birthday card? Yep, it is. Stick with me.
We've got silver keys for the Less Is More challenge to use silver. Actually a couple different kinds of silver paper. They don't look like a key that would really fit in a car ignition, but I claim poetic license. They represent.
On the inside of the card is the rest of the phrase "a small key opens big doors." The idea to split the sentiment across the front and inside of the card comes from the Make It Monday challenge to not forget the inside of the card. I cut some rectangles and squares to make a 6 paneled door, then used different fonts for the words. A clear rhinestone brad would have been ideal for an old glass door knob, but the closest I have is pink.
Then on the inside of the inside is a "happy sweet 16" sentiment. The door is surprisingly sturdy for being hinged with washi tape. Taking another look I see I'll have to go back and cut another door to hide the brad ends on the back. : )
Thanks for looking!
