Hi Friends! I love shaped cards because they are so unique, and not something you can easily find in the stores. The Colorado Craft Company Big & Bold series mice are perfect for creating shaped cards because of their large size.
So awesome that the inside of the shaped card is the right size for the "Reach for the Stars" sentiment. Adore! This mouse and sentiment is from the Falling Star set.
To
make a shaped card you just place the die slightly above the fold line
of your card. For this card the ends of the mouse's hands were slightly
higher than the fold. Then I cut another mouse image and adhered that on
top.
Before adding the stars, my poor little mouse wanted to tip over to the right, since only his left foot is on the ground. But once I added the star to his tail, and a few more stars to the left of the large star, he found his balance and can stand unassisted : )
