Hello Friends! How could these Altenew Build-a-Flower sets get any more beautiful?! I just don't know! But even though I had a super-crazy August this year, I had to make some time to try out the new Wild Rose set. Guess what, it did NOT disappoint!!
You may have come from the blog of Joylita Dsouza, but if not feel free to start at the beginning with Altenew Card Blog.
I went with a pale peach for the base of the flowers and then added some pinks for the shadow layer. The light and dark yellow centers turned out to be a nice pop.
Wild Rose Layering Stamp & Die Set
What I like about this set is the extreme amount of detail in both the flower petals and the leaves. That's something that would be very difficult, and beyond my abilities, to do on my own (one of the criteria I use when deciding what products to buy).
The first sentiment on green cardstock comes with this set. I often like to combine and beef up the sentiments, so I added some die cut letters, and a portion of a die cut phrase on top.
One tip to share: I actually only stamped and cut two flowers, but since I layered one of the flowers behind the other by a decent amount, I cut that portion off that wasn't showing. And then added that small cut portion behind the other two, so it looks like three flowers.
