Hi Folks! We've got two new Hanukkah stamp sets for the final CAS-ual Fridays release day. I thought it was so clever of Michele to use dreidels in place of flags/banners on a string! With that sort of cleverness, I didn't want to detract too much from it so I made it the main feature of the card.
After stamping the "happy" dreidel banner, I used a felt-tipped pen in the same width as the lines of the stamp to draw additional strings across the card. This was my way to use up the real estate, and reinforce the banner theme.
I couldn't decide which "Hanukkah" stamp to use, the chunky distressed one from the new Star of David set, or the handwritten one from one of CAS-ual Fridays' first sets, 8 Happy Nights, so I layered them up and used both.
Thanks so much for joining the Ink Squad and me this past week as we showcased the new stamps and dies at CAS-ual Fridays! If you want to order anything, check back in the store on Saturday for the new products, and don't forget to use my special code "KELLY2016" to save 15% on your purchase!
Thanks for all your sweet comments this week!
