We're going quite basic (with a twist) for the Papertrey October Blog Hop: a name on a tag.
But when it's lying on its side, like on a present and all ...
You can STILL read it! How much easier that would be when passing out presents : )
Right?!
Alpha dies are Papertrey's Headliners and Modern Upper Case letters. After die cutting, I scored the very bottom of the letters, bent them 90 degrees, and put a dab of glue on the bottom to adhere them to the tag. At first I had them taped, but they weren't too sturdy.
We are supposed to make 5 tags for the hop, but I have to admit this took longer than expected, so I stopped at just my two kids. We'll have to see if the others get tags like this : )

See you around the hop! Thanks for looking!

ReplyDeletehahaha - quite basic? I don't think so - great execution of a stunning CAS idea Kelly. I am going to try this with "happy" and "merry" dies - thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteJacquie, GREAT idea! The word dies would be so much easier and faster to do ... most of the time involved is with lining up the individual letter dies. Were I to have your idea last night, there would definitely have been 5 tags in my post today. Thanks for sharing your idea : )
