Dawn McVey has a great tutorial on watercoloring with your ink pads. I wanted to play, but don't have great, open stamp image to play with. So I picked a scrap piece of embossed circles paper on my desk and tried it out.
I liked how it turned out, so I adhered the scrap to a base, stamped a sentiment, and called it a night. I love quick projects!
Thanks for looking!

So pretty. And, great idea to use that embossed paper.
ReplyDeleteSo cool! Love the effect you achieved!
ReplyDeleteFabulous watercolour effect!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly - lovely card! Cool idea to try it on embossing - now I want to try that too!
ReplyDeleteI saw your post on my blog about your Aunt and Uncle living in Glen Ellyn - it is a small world! I am going to try and remember to ask my parents (Clark and Jackie Hoyt) if they know them. I graduated from 8th grade at St. Petronille and then we moved out to Seattle that summer - 1980. My Dad had worked for Sears in the Sears Tower in Downtown Chicago but our family moved back here to be with both sets of their parents as they were aging.
Very creative xx
