New Anita Jeram! Colorado Craft Company Blog Hop!

Hi Friends! I think Anita Jeram could design a thousand stamp sets and I'd never get tired of them! Here she is one more time with four different stamp and coordinating die sets that I'm pretty sure you're going to love as well!

You may have come from the blog of Jennifer Kotas, but if not feel free to start at the beginning with Colorado Craft Company- Adrienne Kennedy.

Watch This! Stamp Set

One of the new sets features some "doggone" adorable pups doing tricks for your entertainment. What I love about this set is the broad appeal it has for kids, teens, masculine cards, so many of the categories of cards I need to make.

I've chosen to feature the juggling doggie on this birthday card.

And he actually juggles the balls!! I did some surgery and cut the ball off his nose, and made 5 additional balls from one of the small stamps (always gotta look for those small stamps in the set, they're often quite useful!) Then I adhered them to a circle of thick acetate and used a brad to fasten it to the card. The "Have a Ball!" sentiment is adhered on top of the brad. I taped the ends of the brad in place on the back so when you "juggle" the balls, the sentiment does not move.

Want to take a quick look?

I did put another thick circle of chipboard in between the acetate and the card base (like a washer) since it's easier for your finger to spin the balls when they're lifted off the card base slightly.

He's so cute! I added a little mouse friend from the Coffee House Stamp Set who was in the perfect position to celebrate, and hold the birthday sign.

Another adorable set is the Hedgehog Day Stamp Set. Anything more cute than hedgehogs giving each other cards?!

After I inked the edges of the panel in green, I felt it needed a little something else, like a pattern. I was looking for a pattern stamp, when it occurred to me to just use the quills of one of the porcupines. So I inked up the back of a porcupine and started stamping along the edges. Love how it turned out!

Really appreciate how intricate the coordinating dies always are in the entire Anita Jeram line, and this one especially with all the cutouts between the branches in the trees. Colorado Craft Company is the only company I know of with this level of detail, and I think it really shows off the stamped image that much more. This is also one of my requirements for buying a coordinating die set, it can't be something I can easily cut out myself (like a circular shape).

The Happy Birthday sentiment (and detailed coordinating die) was stolen from the Watch This! set.

That's all from me for today, but stay tuned, as I'll have one more card to share in a few days.

Prizes!
Colorado Craft Company is giving away a $25 gift card at each stop along this hop!! To be eligible, leave a comment on my blog and on every other blog between now and May 18. I will announce the winner on May 20.

I am now pleased to send you to Bibi Cameron who has some amazing projects to share!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
-Kelly
