There are two more must-have sets from the June Ellen Hutson release, including this very punny Squeeze the Day set. It's the perfect mix of open citrus images and punny sentiments. Not everyone is a flower person, so for those friends and family it's nice to have options like this which are also pretty and organic.
These are colored with watercolors, and then I added some dotted texture to the skins of the fruit. The background of the panel is watercolored in the faintest of blues, just enough to be different from the card base.
Love the sentiment ... this just got real!
Yesterday we had the Good Times set with the scooter that was perfect for teens, this Voices in my Head is NOT for teens, but for your sassiest of friends. The sentiments in this set are hilarious, and I can't wait to start sending them out!!
This is a great layout to show off those amazingly colored backgrounds that are so popular now. This one uses Catherine Pooler's Mardi Gras ink and my new favorite, Limoncello, from the latest release. I also love the head that's included, and how she doesn't have a mouth. Super versatile! She could be happy, frustrated, meh, quizzical, whatever you need her to be for your sentiment.
The oversized Speech Bubbles die is used here, which I love with the smaller sentiment that really packs a punch. There's no missing this one!
Sure hope you've enjoyed this June release from Ellen Hutson as much as I have! It's so fun to work with, and I know I'll be reaching for it again and again.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
